Agencies and Organizations Serving Seniors in Indiana
Aging brings new obstacles and challenges. When seniors, due to health issues and other factors, lose certain abilities, who should they turn to? The community.
Community support is vital to our seniors’ health and well-being. Sadly, senior care can be expensive. And there are certain senior care areas that are not covered by health insurance. In Indiana, there are community groups that are dedicated to helping seniors in various aspects of their lives, which include but are not limited to home care, respite care, nutrition and wellness, legal assistance, and counseling.
However, seniors and their respective families often do not know, or are not aware, that there are many community resources and programs that they can ask help from. They do not know where to start or where to look. With this in mind, we have compiled numerous organizations and programs offering services that seniors of Indiana can access.
